If you’re a big traveler, having good quality luggage to take on trips is absolutely imperative. In addition to being high-quality, the luggage should also be roomy and durable enough for all of your belongings, especially for international travel—ripped luggage is so not sexy.

Fortunately, a wide range of luggage brands offer a lot of choices when it comes to these components. From affordable Tumi options to Away's famously sleek and modern suitcases, you're sure to find the right option for you. Hard shell or soft shell? Fabric or aluminum exterior? Ultimately, the choice is yours and it comes down to personal preference and which suitcase will help you travel best—luckily, Women's Health editors are also avid travelers, so they've been testing luggage for years and have their own tried-and-true favorites.

WH associate commerce editor Lily Wohlner adores Béis, and it's not hard to see why. The brand—founded by Shay Mitchell—has a wide variety of highly-rated suitcases, like this best-selling carry-on roller, and they have the prettiest colors available. (Want a bigger size? Check out this large check-in roller for longer trips.) People love all the different compartments to keep things organized, and that every piece is super stylish.

Another great feature of this affordable brand is that they have a loyalty program, so you can legit rack up points to get discounts and early access to new products. Umm, I think I'm in love.

WH Fitness Editor Jennifer Nied loves Arlo Skye. They specialize in hardside carry-on and check-in suitcases coming in five to six different colors and a few difference sizes. However, they also have soft bags—don't sleep on their backpack that has a five-star rating, the water-resistant weekender, or adorably stylish pet carrier.

A lot of their bags also have external pockets, so they fit a lot more than they look like they can. Reviewers say that Arlo Skye's suitcases have a capacity and durability that make them amazing for international trips.

WH associate news editor Currie Engel and Lifestyle Director Lindsay Geller are both big fans of Away. They have a ton of different options when it comes to durability and style, like their classic, flex, and aluminum collections with different exteriors.

"There really is no substitute for being able to breezily sprint through the airport with my bag rolling easily alongside me in order to catch my plane," Engel says of hers. She loves that her backpack fits perfectly over the handlebar, and the easy-access charging case keeps her phone ready for overseas trips, long layovers, and more.

There's no one better to attest to Rimowa than Maridel Reyes, WH senior deputy digital editor, a self-proclaimed "ride or die" fan of the brand. She's had her carry-on for more than 10 years, so these bags are long-lasting, and even when they're tossed around, they still look great, she says.

She recommends the Essential Lite collection, which "weighs nothing, looks super-sharp, maneuvers well, and I never have to worry about it fitting in the overhead compartment," she says. "I once brought it on a trip to Uruguay and hauled back three bottles of wine and and a few bottles olive oil in it with my clothes crammed into it, and it all arrived just fine."

Their bags have aluminum and polycarbonate cases, and they have cabin, check-in, and trunk sizes. If you travel a lot and have the cash, the investment is worth it for this brand, TBH. You can even customize your own Rimowa suitcase.

Monos prioritizes recycled materials to build their stylish, sleek products, and that's what first got WH senior commerce editor Neha Tandon interested in the brand. "But, I really fell in love with the brand for how functional their products are," she says.

This brand rocks because they have some awesome collections, like their terrazzo, terracotta, and hybrid ones.

Tandon is regular user of two of their bags, including the duffel. "It has tons of convenient pockets to keep my things organized," and she also has their big check-in bag, which she says has lots of compartments to make packing and unpacking a total breeze.

Not only has my family used Travelpro suitcases for years, but Reyes also loves them. "The brand is super-affordable and was recommended to us by someone who uses it to haul stuff to photoshoots," she says. So, you know this brand is A1 when it comes to hauling your stuff from place to place.

They have hardside and softside luggage, both of which are super stylish. The hardside luggage comes in a few different colors and styles with different patterns, so you'll defs be able to recognize your luggage on the baggage claim belt. Their softside luggage comes in many sizes, all of which are expandable—so, overpackers will be set no matter which suitcase you pick.

I know what you're thinking—Herschel? A luggage brand? Yup, the backpack-famous brand has luggage that comes at the recommendation of WH assistant editor Naydeline Mejia.

She has the Heritage Hardshell Large Carry On Luggage and loves it. "It has a travel lock, the matte finish is chic, and it fits everything I need for like a three to five day trip, which is great,". She also loves the security belt inside, so all her most valuable belongings feel like they're totally secure in there.

The brand also has softshell luggage, duffel bags, and trolley sleeve bags, in case you don't feel like wheeling a suitcase across the airport. And, of course, you can't go wrong with bestselling backpacks, like the Little America backpack.

You know it. You love it, and you've probably also already owned a suitcase from this brand at some point in your life. Samsonite has been a big name in the luggage industry for a long time, and for good reason. Their luggage is lightweight and durable, making it easy to pack for any trip. Most of their stuff doesn't come with any frills—Samsonite is a simple, easy, and reliable brand you know you can trust to be provide quality and value without a super steep price tag.

BTW, their luggage sets start at $150, making this brand affordable AF, but also stylish. I mean, check out their voltage two-piece set. I want it all.

SwissGear is a classic for a reason—I've been using their Sion Softside Expandable Roller Luggage for years as my fave carry-on bag, and even though it's just $120, it's never done me wrong. It's so durable that it got me through years of trekking back and forth home from college.

Aside from that beloved suitcase, though, they offer all different types of affordable luggage pieces, from hardside suitcases to softside ones, garment bags, totes, and more. Their products have thousands of glowing five-star reviews online and I know my family and I are huge fans, so I suggest SwissGear for all of your travel needs.

Rockland is an extremely affordable brand with a ton of different designs, so if you're trying to shop for kids, they have a ton of fun options. If you have very small children, they have a great starter collection for tots. If your kids are a bit older, they have some awesome patterned options, available in both softside and hardside suitcases.

Most importantly, though, there are incredible luggage options for adults, too. My personal fave is this pink four-piece softside luggage set. And that's not all—Rockland also has backpacks, rolling computer cases, and duffels, and more. Huuuge W.

Dagne Dover is a solid luggage brand for duffels, totes, and backpacks. "Dagne Dover makes some of the most lightweight products I’ve ever tried," says Tandon.

While you may not be shopping for a checked suitcase for a long international trip from this brand, it has the perfect neoprene line for quick weekend trips. "Since I’m a sucker for organization, I love that there are more pockets and compartments than I can ever use on their bags. That cuts down on the toiletries bags to help me pack lighter, too," she explains.

They're pretty much experts when it comes to backpacks, though, considering that all sizes of their Dakota backpack are bestsellers.

Coolife is another v affordable luggage brand, considering you can get a three-piece suitcase set for under $200. Their hardshell and softshell spinners come in a ton of different designs and styles—no two look the same. Check out their bestselling white and brown five-piece set, which also comes with and extra weekender and toiletry bag, their lightweight pink suitcase set, and their softshell lightweight set, which comes with an extra tote.

One of my very favorite things about Coolife is some of their carry-on luggage even has an extra compartment for your laptop! I love to see it.

Don't sleep on CK—WH editorial assistant Sabrina Talbert and her fam have all shared a hardshell suitcase from this brand over the years, and it's super durable.

Durability is a must for traveling, and obviously, Calvin Klein's suitcases are also stylish AF. I mean, these colors, hello? Coming in sets and as single suitcases, these pieces of luggage can be passed around your whole family for tons of different trips. They make amazing gifts, too. People love suitcase as a gift because it'll always be put to use. Plus, who doesn't love a good name brand present?

You'll be an unstoppable traveler with the cute quilted pattern of MZ Wallace's luggage, recommended by Nied and Tandon. While they don't have a ton of suitcase options, they have a ton of different totes, briefcases, and duffels—which happen to be bestsellers—so you can match your different pieces in the midst of traveling. The brand is so trendy right now, so you'll love trying them out.

They even have cute shoulder bags (Tandon swears by hers) and sling fanny packs, which you can travel with and take out on the town with you in a new place.

Ballin' on a budget? Amazon Basics should be your go-to if you need a suitcase, stat. The lovely suitcase pictured here has over 40,000 ratings and an average of 4.6 stars, NBD. While inexpensive, the brand has sturdy suitcases, with sets and single suitcases. The fun color options are a total bonus, too.

Don't be fooled by the low prices—the hardshell suitcases have a super thick and durable shell and even feature expandable zippers to make the suitcases 15 percent larger. You'll find several pockets to keep your things organized on the interior, too.

WH executive health and fitness editor Jacqueline Andriakos is a major fan of Calpak, as is Nied, because of their functional styles and gorgeous designs.

When Andriakos wanted a matching chrome luggage set—which can get super pricey—she found the Calpak Ambeur 3-Piece Luggage Set in their pretty silver shade. "It's made of a durable polycarbonate that I don't feel like I have to be too precious with when traveling and checking my luggage (plus scuffs are easy to clean off it)," she says.

Andriakos also loves that the suitcases are expandable, and that the brand features super versatile pieces. She uses the Terra 26L Laptop Backpack Duffel on hikes, since it can function as a backpack or duffel bag. "It holds everything," she says. I'm sold, TBH.

This set from Paravel is legit the prettiest I've ever seen. If you really like to prioritize traveling in style, it's the brand for you. They don't just look good—they do good, too. Paravel places high value on sustainability, so they upcycle plastic water bottles to make products like their negative nylon collection and ecocraft canvas styles to reduce plastic pollution.

Some of their bestsellers come from their Aviator collection, and people love their sets with totes. However, they also sell packing cubes, jewelry and vanity cases, and other travel accessories. Talk about a well-rounded travel brand.

You can also shop by size—carry-on or checked bag—and material, so there are a lot of easy options to get you what you need based on what kind of trip you'll embark on. Okay, but aside from the brand's site functionality, these suitcases are seriously high-quality and stylish. Some of their bestsellers include the sleek Continental Dual Access 4 Wheeled Carry-On and the Extended Trip 4 Wheeled Garment Bag—the latter of which Tandon recently gifted to her own partner.

"I bought the wheeled garment bag for my partner who travels with expensive suits for work very often," she says. "He's often having to go straight from a flight to important meetings and complains that his clothing arrives wrinkled, but he no longer has that issue with this garment bag. This gift won me so many girlfriend points—he won't stop bragging about it."

American Tourister is a super well-rounded luggage brand—I think they're the best for those who want really unique luggage that's easily identifiable on the baggage claim belt. For instance, they have a gorg marble two-piece set, a blue polka-dot design set, and other brightly-colored options. However, this brand is fit for the whole fam, considering they have an entire Disney and Star Wars collections. (I'm not even a sci-fi gal, but even I have to admit this suitcase is epic.)

They make a great gift for anyone who loves to have eyes on them while traveling.

Ricardo Beverly Hills has a lot of great options for your luggage wants and needs, and it's another well-rounded brand. They've got softside luggage, hardside luggage (with cool designs), unique design options, plus packing cubes, and tote bags. This brand is pretty affordable for the quality you're getting—even if you want one of their sets.

They have a lot of choices with lots of organization-primed pockets to make packing and unpacking just a *bit* less stressful.
